Detectives Investigating Office Building Burglary in Bethesda; Surveillance Video of Suspect Released

Detectives from the  Montgomery County Department of Police - 2nd District Investigative Section continue to investigate the February 11 burglary of an office building in Bethesda.  Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the male suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

On Tuesday, February 11, at approximately 6:57 p.m., the suspect is seen on video surveillance approaching the office building and knocking on the front doors to get the attention of a cleaner who is working inside the building.  The cleaner then lets the suspect into the building.  The suspect is seen exiting the elevator to the lobby at approximately 4:36 a.m. the next day (February 12) carrying items he has stolen from businesses.

Anyone with information regarding this suspect or this burglary is asked to call the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.

Note:  The office building was undergoing renovations at this time and other workers were in the building and can be seen on video surveillance.
