Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Germantown Man (LOCATED)

Update: 3/13/20 - Joseph Moubarek has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Germantown man.

Joseph Moubarek, age 23, was last seen by family at approximately 7:30 p.m. this evening (Wednesday, March 11) when he left his Winding Creek Way home on foot.

Moubarek is 5’ 2” tall and approximately 120 pounds.  He has brown eyes, black hair, and was last seen wearing a dark jacket and tan pants.  Moubarek was also seen carrying a blue bag with the word “Urbana” written on the bag.

Moubarek has Down’s Syndrome and has been known to use public transportation.  He has previously been located in Washington, D.C.

Police and family are concerned for Moubarek’s well-being.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Joseph Moubarek is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours).
