Detectives Investigating Burglary of Gaithersburg Restaurant: Surveillance Video of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police - 6th District are investigating the burglary of the Hershey's Restaurant located at 17030 Oakmont Avenue in Gaithersburg that occurred on March 26.  Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public's help in identifying him.

On March 26 at approximately 1:58 a.m., a male suspect cut the plastic screen on the deck of the Hershey's Restaurant and once inside the deck area, broke the glass on a  door that led to the interior of the restaurant.  The suspect then entered the restaurant and stole liquor bottles stored in the bar area.

Anyone with information regarding this suspect or this burglary is asked to call the 6th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5770. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
