(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Area Man

Update: April 14, 2020 - Emerson Polio Ruiz has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Gaithersburg area man.

Emerson Polio Ruiz, age 18, was last seen by family at approximately 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11 when he left his Meadow Green Way home on his blue bicycle.

Ruiz is 5’ 8” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds.  He has brown eyes and black hair.  Ruiz was last seen wearing a black Adidas sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, and white tennis shoes.

Police and family are concerned for Ruiz’s welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Emerson Polio Ruiz is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours).  Callers may remain anonymous.
