Detectives Investigate Armed Robbery of a Dunkin’ Donuts on Veirs Mill Road; Surveillance Video of Suspects Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the March 19 armed robbery of a Dunkin’ Donuts on Veirs Mill Road. Today, detectives are releasing surveillance video of the two male suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On March 19 at approximately 5:00 a.m., 4^th District officers responded to the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 12200 Veirs Mill Road for a report of an armed robbery.  The investigation by detectives determined that the suspects entered the store and approached an employee who was behind the counter.  One suspect vaulted the counter and ordered the employee to stay back while the second suspect leaned over the counter, threatened the employee with a screwdriver, and removed the cash drawer from the register.  The suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.
