Concern for Missing Man (LOCATED)

Update: April 20, 2020 - William Jake Mitchell has been located safe and unharmed.

The Montgomery County Department of Police-5th District Investigative Section is asking for the public’s help in locating a man missing from Germantown.

William Jake Mitchell, age 29, was last seen today at approximately 1:46 pm at a hotel on Goldenrod Lane in Germantown.  Mitchell got into a verbal argument with family members and walked away from the hotel.

Mitchell is described as approximately 5'06" tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair.  He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

Family and police are concerned for Mitchell's welfare.  Anyone with information regarding William Mitchell's whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 phone line).
