Concern for Missing Fairland Area Woman (Located)

UPDATE (April 18, 2020) : Sharon Cochran has been located safe and unharmed.

The Montgomery County Department of Police-3rd District Investigative Section is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman missing from the Fairland area of Silver Spring.

Sharon Cochran, age 51, of Badian Drive, was last seen yesterday (Friday, April 17) at approximately 1:00 pm at her home.  Family have not been able to contact Cochran since that time.  It is believed that Cochran may have traveled to Columbia Local Park located at 14900 Old Columbia Pike at some point after she left her residence.

Cochran is described as approximately 5’01” tall, weighs approximately 180 pounds, and has brown eyes and medium length brown and gray hair.  She was last seen wearing blue hospital scrubs.

Family and police are concerned for Cochran's welfare.  Anyone with information regarding Sharon Cochran's whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 phone line).
