Detectives Investigate Armed Robbery of Buffalo Wild Wings in Gaithersburg; Surveillance Video of Suspects Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating the armed robbery of a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant that occurred yesterday evening in Gaithersburg.  Today, detectives are releasing surveillance video of the three male suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On Tuesday, May 19 at approximately 10:05 p.m., 6th District officers and Gaithersburg Police Department officers responded to the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant located at 668 Clopper Road for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.  The investigation by detectives determined that the suspects entered the restaurant armed with handguns and their faces concealed.  The suspects threatened multiple store employees, including the store manager, and demanded that the manager open the safe to the business.  The manager complied with the suspects’ demands.  The suspects stole cash from the safe, stole property from several employees who were inside the restaurant, and then fled the area.
