Detectives Investigate Shooting in Germantown

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are investigating a shooting that occurred on May 20 in Germantown.  At this time, this incident does not appear to be random in nature.

On Wednesday, May 20 at approximately 11:00 p.m., 5th District officers responded to the area of the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road for the report of a shooting.  Responding officers located a 29-year-old male in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.   The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators ask that anyone with information about this shooting or the identities of the suspect(s) contact the 5th District Investigative Section at 240-773-6237.
