Concern for Missing Silver Spring Man (LOCATED)

Update: June 10, 2020 - Felipe Inocente Mendoza Tamayo has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police - 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Silver Spring area man.

Felipe Inocente Mendoza Tamayo, age 79, of Beacon Road in Silver Spring, was last seen on Monday, June 8 at his apartment residence.

Tamayo is approximately 5' 5" in height and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He has black/gray hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.  He does not have a vehicle and frequents public transportation.

Police are concerned for his welfare and ask that anyone with information about Tamayo's whereabouts to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
