Concern for Missing Bethesda Woman with Dementia (Located)

UPDATE: Akiko King has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 86-year-old Bethesda woman who has dementia.

Akiko Sato King of the 4500 block of East West Highway was last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, at her residence.

King is approximately 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She has gray hair and brown eyes.  King walks with the assistance of a cane.  She may be carrying a multicolored tote bag with a design that depicts children playing.

King frequents the downtown Bethesda area.

Anyone with information about Akiko King's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
