Montgomery County Vehicle Recovery Section Resumes Auctions on July 18, 2020

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, July 7, 2020

The Montgomery County Department of Police Vehicle Recovery Section (VRS) hosts a monthly auction to sell abandoned and seized vehicles. The next auction is scheduled for July 18, 2020.

This auction will be restricted to fifty attendees to ensure social distancing during the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. 

Potential attendees are instructed to register for the event to enhance their chances for admittance. Information is provided below regarding registration instructions. Potential attendees who have registered and present a ticket no later than 8:45 am on the day of the auction will be provided entrance first over any other individuals who have not registered for the event.

Persons who have not registered are encouraged to call VRS or email to inquire regarding if the fifty-participant limit has been met through the registration process. Persons are encouraged to not show up at the event if all registration spaces have been filled.
