(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Friendship Heights Area Juvenile

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, August 4, 2020

Update: August 4, 2020 at 9:40 p.m. -   Laurel Strong has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile female from the Friendship Heights area.

Laurel Elliot Strong, age 12, was last seen by family at approximately 5:30 p.m. this evening (Tuesday, August 4) when she left her Warwick Place home on foot.

Strong is approximately 5’ 4” tall and weighs approximately 125 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

Police and family are concerned for Strong’s welfare.

Anyone with information about Laurel Strong’s whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
