Silver Alert Issued for Man Missing from Poolesville (Located)

UPDATE: 8/8/2020 (6:46 am): Richard Darling has been located and is being reunited with family.

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a man missing from Poolesville.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 72-year-old Richard Anthony Darling.  Darling has shown signs of cognitive impairment (memory issues).



Darling left his home located on Hillard Street in Poolesville today (August 7) at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Darling is driving a 2012 silver Chevrolet Equinox with Maryland plates: 04740CE

Darling is described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs approximately 240 pounds, and has blue eyes and gray hair.  He has a mustache.  He was last seen wearing a dark blue or dark green shirt with, "St. Michaels" written in white lettering on the front of it, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Richard Darling's whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
