(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Woman

Update: August 14, 2020 - Francis Janeth Padilla has been located safe and unharmed. 

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Gaithersburg woman.

Francis Janeth Padilla, age 49, was last seen by friends at approximately 11:00 p.m. yesterday evening (Tuesday, August 11) when she left on foot from a business located on Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg.  Friends have been unable to contact her since that time.

Padilla is 5’ 3” tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds.  She has brown eyes and brown hair.

Police and friends are concerned for Padilla’s welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Francis Janeth Padilla is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours).  Callers may remain anonymous.
