Concern for Missing Bethesda Teenager (Located)

Update (8/17/2020) :Christopher Okoboi has been located safe and unharmed.  Thank you to the resident who recognized Okoboi from this press release and called MCP.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile missing from Bethesda.

Christopher Okoboi, age 16, left his residence on foot on Friday, August 14.  Family members have been unable to contact him since that time.

Okoboi is approximately 5’9” tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.  He currently is wearing a splint on his right pointer finger.

Police and family are concerned for Okoboi's welfare.  At this time, there is no foul play suspected in this missing person case.

Anyone with information about Christopher Okoboi's whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000. (24-hour line).
