(LOCATED) Silver Alert Issued for Missing Boyds Man with Alzheimer’s

Update: August 25, 2020, 8:50 p.m. - Mr. Tuell has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Boyds man who has Alzheimer’s.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 72-year-old James “Jimmy” Franklin Tuell.

Mr. Tuell was last seen by family at approximately 6:00 p.m. this evening (Tuesday, August 25) when he left his West Old Baltimore Road home driving his 2014 gray Toyota Tacoma with Maryland tags: 7BP2214.  Family has been unable to contact Mr. Tuell since he left.

James “Jimmy” Franklin Tuell is 5’ 10” tall and weighs 250 pounds.  He has blue eyes and is bald.  Mr. Tuell was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and camouflage shorts.

Police and family are concerned for Mr. Tuell’s welfare.

Anyone with information regarding James “Jimmy” Franklin Tuell’s whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
