Detectives Investigate Early Morning Robbery in Fairland; Surveillance Video of Suspects Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating a robbery that occurred in the early morning of August 28 outside a home in Fairland.  Investigators believe that the victims of this robbery were specifically targeted.  Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the three suspects committing the robbery and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

On August 28, at approximately 6:11 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to a residence on Alpenhorn Way for the report of a robbery that had just occurred.   The investigation by detectives determined that at approximately 5:54 a.m., the 70-year-old male victim and the 65-year-old female victim exited their home when they were immediately confronted and assaulted by three suspects.  The suspects stole property from the victims and fled.   The victims were not injured during this robbery.
