Silver Alert Issued for Missing Germantown Man with Dementia (Located)

Update: Mr. Sauder has been located and is being reunited with family.  The Silver Alert has been cancelled.

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a man missing from Germantown.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 86-year-old Wayne Lee Sauder.  Sauder has dementia.

Wayne Lee Sauder of the 20900 block of Father Hurley Boulevard was last seen at his residence at approximately 4:45 p.m. today (Friday, September 4).

Sauder is approximately 5 feet 03 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has gray hair (is balding) and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and white plaid shirt and black pants.

Sauder is driving a silver 2010 Honda Accord with Maryland tags: 9DP3725.

Sauder used to live in Fort Washington, Maryland, and he may be attempting to return to that area.

Anyone with information regarding Wayne Sauder's whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
