(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Germantown Woman

For Immediate Release: Monday, September 14, 2020

Update: September 15, 2020 - Elana Epps has been located safe and unharmed.

The Montgomery County Department of Police-5th  District Investigative Section is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman from Germantown.

Elana Epps, age 21, was last seen by family at approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning (Monday, September 14) when she left her White Church Court home on foot.  Family reported that Epps has Down syndrome and functions at a middle school level.

Epps is described as approximately 5’5” tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds.  She has dyed red hair in a ponytail and brown eyes.

Family and police are concerned for Epps’ welfare.  Anyone with information regarding Elana Epps’ whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 phone line).
