(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Silver Spring Area Man

Update: September 21, 2020 - Simon Semere has been located safe and unharmed. 

The Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Silver Spring area man.

Simon Semere, age 43, was last seen by family at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 17 when he left his Renfrew Road home driving his 1999 dark green Toyota 4Runner with Maryland tags: 1EA8041.  Family reported that Semere may be attempting to drive to the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Semere is described as approximately 6’ 1” tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds.  He has brown eyes and is bald.  Semere was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue sweatpants, and black slippers.

Family and police are concerned for Semere’s welfare.  Anyone with information regarding Simon Semere’s whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call the Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 phone line).
