(LOCATED) Silver Alert Issued for Missing Bethesda Man with Alzheimer's

Update: September 22, 2020 - Douglas Alexander has been located safe and unharmed. The Silver Alert has been canceled. 

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a man missing from Bethesda.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 78-year-old Douglas Alexander.  Alexander has Alzheimer's.

Douglas Alexander of Jamestown Court in Bethesda was last seen at his residence at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21.

Alexander is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He has gray hair (is balding) and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue sports jacket over a white shirt and a tie.

Alexander is driving a tan 2015 Volkswagen Golf with Maryland tags: 6CC3126.

Anyone with information regarding Douglas Alexander's whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
