(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Derwood Juvenile

For Immediate Release: Saturday, September 26, 2020

Update: September 27, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. - Pearl Mitchell has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile female from Derwood.

Pearl Mitchell, age 14, was last seen by family at approximately 5:00 p.m. this afternoon (Saturday, September 26) when she left her Gold Ring Terrace home on foot.

Mitchell is approximately 5’ 4” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.  She has brown eyes and brown hair.  Mitchell was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, and light-colored shorts.

Police and family are concerned for Mitchell’s welfare.

Anyone with information about Pearl Mitchell’s whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
