Sobriety Checkpoint to be Conducted Tonight; Always Choose a Sober Driver

Tonight, (Friday, October 30), the Montgomery County Department of Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint.

This enforcement is a component of the department’s effort to address the potential challenges of decreased daylight hours with the end of Daylight Saving Time (DST) and increased alcohol consumption during fall and winter holidays.

The exact location of the checkpoint will not be disclosed in advance.

When: Friday, October 30, beginning at approximately 8:00 p.m. (weather permitting)
