Suspect Arrested for Stealing Election and Other Yard Signs in Kemp Mill Area

Detectives from the 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit have arrested and charged Isaac Levy, age 35, of Hyde Road in Silver Spring, with multiple counts of theft and vandalism related to the stealing of election and other yard signs and placing stickers on the victims’ vehicle(s).

On August 8, detectives began an investigation of numerous reports of thefts of election and other signs from residential yards in the Kemp Mill area. Victims reported that the suspect would also put a sticker on their car(s).

The thefts of signs continued to on or about September 15. In total, detectives have identified 22 victims.

During the investigation, Levy was developed as a suspect. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he turned himself in to detectives yesterday (October 29). He was transported to the Central Processing Unit.
