Detectives Investigating Thefts of $13,000 Worth of Apple Products from T-Mobile Stores

For Immediate Release: Monday, November 9, 2020

Detectives from the 4th District - Patrol Investigations Unit are investigating thefts of Apple products from three T-Mobile stores located in the County; these thefts are believed to have been committed by the same three suspects.  The total value of the Apple products stolen by these suspects is approximately $13,000.  The Department is releasing surveillance video of the suspects committing these thefts and is asking anyone with information to come forward to investigators.

Below is a summary of the three thefts believed to have been committed by the same suspects:

  • October 29, approximately 7:00 p.m., T-Mobile store located at 18240 Village Center Drive in Olney. Suspects went to Apple product section and forcefully pulled products from security wiring.  Suspects were seen leaving in a red four-door vehicle.
  • October 29, approximately 7:57 p.m., T-Mobile store located at 18008 Mateny Road in Germantown. Suspects went to the Apple product section and forcefully pulled products from security wiring.  (Video released)
  • October 30, approximately 8:13 p.m., T-Mobile store located at 2800 (B) University Boulevard West in Wheaton. Suspects went to the Apple product section and forcefully pulled products from security wiring.  (Video released)
