(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Man

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, November 18, 2020

Update: November 23, 2020 - Christopher Garett Barnhard has been located safe and unharmed. 

Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man.

Christopher Garett Barnhard, age 21, who was last known to reside on Earlsgate Lane in North Bethesda, last spoke with family on the phone at approximately 11:00 a.m. this morning (Wednesday, November 18).  Family has been unable to contact him since that time.  Detectives believe that Barnhard may be operating a 2003 black Toyota Avalon with Maryland tags: 5EG0873.

Barnhard is approximately 5’ 8” tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds.  He has blue eyes and brown hair.

Police and family are concerned for Barnhard’s welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Christopher Garett Barnhard’s whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call the Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 phone line).  Callers may remain anonymous.
