Update: December 3, 2020 - Ava Murphy has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing teenager.

Ava Murphy, age 16, of Regency Drive, was last seen by her family on November 30 at approximately 11:00 pm at her residence.

Murphy is described as 5’5” tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.

At this time, there is no foul play suspected in this missing person case.

Police and family are concerned for Ava Murphy's welfare. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ava Murphy is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
