Detectives Investigating Bank Robbery in Silver Spring; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating the robbery of a TD Bank that occurred on November 17 in Silver Spring.  Investigators are releasing surveillance video of the suspect and are asking anyone with information about the robbery to come forward to the Police Department.

On Tuesday, November 17, at approximately 1:25 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to the TD Bank located at 8661 Colesville Road for the report of a robbery.  The investigation by detectives determined that the suspect approached a teller and announced the robbery.  He obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.
