Update: Missing Silver Spring Mother and her Nine-Year-Old Daughter; Mother Wanted for Parental Abduction (LOCATED)

Update: February 8, 2021: Yesterday, Ashley Spicer and her daughter Israel "Kali" Burks were located unharmed in Atlanta, Georgia .  Ashley Spicer was taken into custody and her daughter is being reunited with her father.

Update: February 2, 2021: Ashley Spicer and her nine-year-old daughter Israel "Kali" Burks have not been located.  Spicer is currently wanted for parental abduction of her daughter and there is a Montgomery County warrant for her arrest.  Investigators have information that Spicer has been in Richmond, Virginia, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Tennessee in recent months. 

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ashley Spicer and her daughter Israel Burks is asked to the call the Montgomery County Police Department non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) have charged Ashley Spicer, age 35, with parental abduction of her nine-year-old daughter Israel "Kali" Burks.  There is a warrant for Spicer's arrest.

In October, the Police Department issued a press release asking for the public's help to locate Ashley Spicer and her daughter.  Ashley Spicer had not brought Israel back to her father, who has full custody, after a summer visit. Ashley Spicer would not disclose her whereabouts to the father of Israel.

During this investigation, detectives have spoken to Ashley Spicer via email and cell phone.  Ashley Spicer is aware that there is a warrant for her arrest.  Detectives have received information that Spicer and her daughter were in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in late October.
