(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Bethesda Man

For Immediate Release: Thursday, December 17, 2020

Update: December 16, 2020 - August Kern has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Bethesda man.

August Kern, age 26, of Mohawk Lane, left his place of employment in Bethesda earlier today and did not return home as expected.

Kern is approximately 6’0” tall and weighs 180 pounds.  He has brown hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a black polo shirt and black pants.

Police and family are concerned for Kern's welfare.

Anyone with information about August Kern's whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department's non-emergency line at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
