Concern for Missing Bethesda Area Teen (Located)

Update: (12/24/2020): Sefi Dechambenoit has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenage male from the Bethesda area.

Sefi Dechambenoit, age 15, of Lenox Road has been reported as missing by his family.

Dechambenoit is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.  He has brown eyes and black hair.  Dechambenoit was last seen wearing a black Adidas hoodie, black jeans, and white Nike tennis shoes.   Family reported that they believe Dechambenoit may be staying in the Springfield, Virginia area.

Police and family are concerned for Dechambenoit’s welfare.

Anyone with information about Sefi Dechambenoit’s whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line).
