(LOCATED) Silver Alert Issued for Missing 91-Year-Old Germantown Man

UPDATE: January 8, 2021 - James Demar has been located safe and unharmed. The Silver Alert has been canceled.

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a man missing from Germantown.  A Silver Alert has been activated for 91-year-old James Demar, Sr.

James Demar of Esmond Terrace was last seen by a family member yesterday (January 6) at approximately noon.  A neighbor noticed that Demar was not home this evening (January 7) and his family does not know his whereabouts.

Demar is approximately 5 feet 02 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds.  He is bald and has brown eyes.

Demar is driving a blue,1994 Mercury Grand Marquis with Maryland tags: 6AG2532.

Anyone with information regarding James Demar's whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
