Detectives Investigate Homicide in Wheaton-Glenmont Area

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating the homicide of an adult male that occurred this morning in a parking lot located in the Wheaton-Glenmont area.

The victim is identified as Martin Sean Nolan, age 21, of the 12700 block of Caldwell Street in Rockville.

This morning at approximately 5:39 a.m., the Emergency Communications Center (911) received a call for the report of a shooting that had just occurred in the parking area of an elementary school located in the 3100 block of Medway Street.  Officers responded and located Nolan in a vehicle suffering from trauma. Nolan was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Nolan’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) in Baltimore where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
