(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Germantown Woman

For Immediate Release: Saturday, January 16, 2021

Update: January 16 - Starr Prophet has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Germantown woman.

Starr Prophet, age 21, was last seen by family at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 15 when she left her Apperson Place home on foot.  Family has been unable to contact her since that time.  Family reported that Prophet may be in the Baltimore area.

Prophet is approximately 5’02" tall and 130 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.  

Family and police are concerned for Prophet's welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Starr Prophet's whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 phone line).  Callers may remain anonymous.
