Detectives Investigate Burglary of Restaurant in Germantown; Surveillance Video of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 5th District Investigative Section continue to investigate the January 5 burglary of the Mi Rancho restaurant located at 19725 Germantown Road in Germantown.  Today, detectives are releasing surveillance video of the male suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

The investigation by detectives determined that on Tuesday, January 5, at approximately 12:40 p.m., employees were working in the front of the restaurant when the suspect entered the business and engaged the employees in a conversation.   The suspect then left and the employees went to the rear of the restaurant.   The suspect then re-entered the restaurant through the main door and made his way into the basement.  There, the suspect forced entry into a locked office and stole cash from the business.  The suspect then fled through a basement door.
