Detectives Investigating Two Gas Station Burglaries with ATM Theft Committed by Same Suspects in Germantown

Detectives from the 5th District are investigating burglaries of two gas stations located in Germantown that were committed by the same suspects on January 3, minutes apart.  The two suspects were successful in stealing an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) from one of the gas stations.  Anyone with information is asked to come forward to the Police Department.

A summary of the two gas station burglaries committed by these suspects on January 3 are as follows:

  • 4:16 am, Freestate Gas Station located at 20650 Frederick Road.  Officers responded to a commercial alarm at the location.  Suspects attempted to break into the ATM but were unsuccessful. (see video)

  • 4:36 am, Sunoco Gas Station location at 19235 Frederick Road.  Officers responded to a commercial alarm at the location.  Suspects were successful in stealing the ATM from the business.
