Detectives Conducting Death Investigation Following Darnestown Road House Fire; No Foul Play Suspected in Death

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division and Fire Explosive Investigators from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service are conducting a death investigation following a house fire that occurred last night on Darnestown Road. 

On Sunday, February 21, at approximately 7:15 pm, 1st District officers and Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a house fire in the 15000 block of Darnestown Road. 

A female resident was rescued from the home. She was pronounced deceased at the hospital. She is being identified as 72-year-old Judith Marion. At this time, there is no foul play suspected in her death.
