Detectives Investigate Six Commercial Burglaries in Briggs Chaney Area Committed by Same Suspect; Surveillance Video of Suspect Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 3rd District Investigative Section continue to investigate the November 3, 2020 burglaries of six businesses that occurred in the Briggs Chaney area.  Five of those businesses are located in the Briggs Chaney Marketplace on Outlet Drive.  Investigators followed tips at that time but have exhausted leads. Detectives are releasing surveillance video of the suspect from two of these burglaries and are asking anyone with information about the suspect or these burglaries to come forward to the Police Department.

The investigation by detectives determined that on November 3, 2020, between 2:20 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., the suspect forced entry into the following businesses and stole property:

* Briggs Chaney Deli - Located at 13832 Outlet Drive.

* Ross Dress for Less – Located at 13855 Outlet Drive.

* Global Food and MoneyGram – Both located at 13814 Outlet Drive.  (surveillance video provided)

* Karen’s Seafood – Located at 13843 Outlet Drive.

* Don Ramon restaurant – Located at 13816 old Columbia Pike. (surveillance video provided)
