(LOCATED) Concern for Missing Gaithersburg Man

For Immediate Release: Thursday, February 25, 2021

Update: February 27 - Miguel Angel Carreno Jr. has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Gaithersburg man.

Miguel Angel Carreno Jr., age 23, of Gallop Hill Road, last contacted family via text message at approximately 5:30 p.m. this evening (Thursday, February 25).  Family has been unable to contact him since that time.

Carreno Jr. is approximately 6’ 1” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds.  He has brown hair and brown eyes.  

Family and police are concerned for Carreno Jr.’s. physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Miguel Angel Carreno Jr. is asked to call the Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 phone line). Callers may remain anonymous.
