Detectives Investigate Vandalism of Five Homes Under Construction in Poolesville

For Immediate Release: Friday, February 26, 2021

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 1st District Investigative Section are investigating the vandalisms to five homes under construction in Poolesville. The first vandalism occurred in late January.  The latest vandalism occurred on February 22.  

During these vandalisms, the suspect(s) have either entered the home under construction through open doors or windows or forced entry through locked doors.   Once inside, the suspect(s) damaged property and or construction materials.  Investigators believe that the all of incidents occurred between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. and that the suspect(s) may live in the area.

The dates and locations of the vandalisms are listed below.

* January 27 and February 5 - 17089 Oxley Farm Road

* January 28 and February 5 - 17085 Oxley Farm Road

* February 22 - 17072 Oxley Farm Road
