Sobriety Checkpoint Conducted Tonight

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, March 17, 2021

Tonight, (Wednesday, March 17), the Montgomery County Department of Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint.  Officers will also focus enforcement on impaired-driving laws.

Officers from the Maryland-National Capital Park Police will be assisting with this sobriety checkpoint.

The exact location of the checkpoint will not be disclosed in advance.

The Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP)'s SoberRide Program is offering free Lyft rides this St. Patrick's Day.  More information and requirements can be found by clicking here.
