Concern for Missing 88-Year-Old Layhill Area Man with Dementia (Located)

UPDATE: David Baird has been located safe and unharmed!

The Montgomery County Department of Police is asking for the public’s help in locating an 88-year-old Layhill area man with dementia who was last seen earlier today. 

David Hilton Baird of the 13600 block of Layhill Road was last seen at his residence at approximately 4:00 pm.  It is believed that he left his home on foot.

Baird is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds.  He has dark brown eyes and is bald. 

He was last seen wearing a brown shirt under a white sweatshirt with black on the shoulders, dark colored pants, white shoes, and a blue medical face mask.  (Please note that Mr. Baird is wearing the exact same clothing in the photograph below that he was wearing when he was last seen).

Baird may be attempting to walk on the Matthew Henson Trail.

Anyone who sees David Baird or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
