Concern for Missing Wheaton Area Man (LOCATED)

UPDATE: David Yandun has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Wheaton area man.

David Samuel Yandun, age 20, of the 11600 block of Veirs Mill Road, was last leaving his residence today at approximately 1:30 pm in a 2020 black Honda Accord with Maryland tag: 3EE9116.

Yandun is approximately 5’ 10" tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.  He has brown eyes and has black hair. He was last seen wearing a red and black jacket and green pajama pants with a white design.

Yandun has been texting his family but will not disclose his whereabouts.  Family and police are concerned for his physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone with information regarding David Yandun's whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call the Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 phone line). Callers may remain anonymous.
