(LOCATED) Concern for Missing 10-Year-Old from Montgomery Village

For Immediate Release: Friday, May 21, 2021

Update: May 21 at 9:20 p.m. - Kelan Tetteh has been located safe and unharmed.


Detectives from the Montgomery County Police- Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing 10-year-old male from Montgomery Village.

Kelan Tetteh was last seen by family at approximately 4:30 p.m. this afternoon (Friday, May 21) when he left his Grazing Terrace home on foot.  

Tetteh is approximately 4' 7” tall and weighs approximately 70 pounds.  He has brown eyes and black hair.  Tetteh was last seen wearing a red shirt with black writing, black pants, and black shoes.

Police and family are concerned for Tetteh’s welfare.  

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Kelan Tetteh is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000(24hrs). Callers may remain anonymous.
