Detectives Investigate Two Thefts at Best Buy in Wheaton Committed by Same Suspect; Surveillance Video Released

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit continue to investigate two separate thefts that occurred In May at a Best Buy store in Wheaton.  Both thefts were committed by the same suspect. Today, investigators are releasing surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

The following thefts from the Best Buy store located at 10901 Georgia Avenue were reported to police:

On May 5, at approximately 2:17 pm., the suspect stole approximately $200 worth of property from the Best Buy store and was last seen fleeing in a gold-colored sedan.

On May 6, at approximately 5:02 pm, the suspect stole approximately $827 worth of property and fled the store.
