Montgomery County Police investigate Downtown Bethesda Auto Theft

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section continue to investigate a July 19 theft of a Toyota Corolla that occurred in downtown Bethesda. Detectives are releasing surveillance video of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.


The investigation by detectives determined that the victim left her 2019 blue, Toyota Corolla in the 4700 block of Bethesda Avenue while she made a delivery at a nearby business. A witness observed three suspects enter the Corolla and drive the vehicle from the area.


Anyone with information regarding the suspects or this stolen 2019 Toyota Corolla with Maryland license plate 3DR6046, is asked to call the 2nd District Investigative Section. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).  Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
