Montgomery County Police Investigating Robbery at Rockville Pharmacy

Gaithersburg, MD - Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division are investigating the September 1 robbery of a pharmacy in Rockville. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.  

On Wednesday, September 1, at approximately 9:50 a.m., officers responded to a pharmacy in the 700 block of Rockville Pike for the report of a robbery that just occurred.  

The investigation by detectives determined that the suspect jumped the counter of the pharmacy. He then forcefully escorted the employee to a different location within the pharmacy and demanded pharmaceuticals. The suspect then began filling a white trash bag with different medications and pharmaceuticals before fleeing the scene.  

The suspect is described as a black male, thin build, approximately 5-feet-6-inches tall, wearing an orange mask, a red hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, tan pants and black boots.
