Concern for Missing Chevy Chase Woman (LOCATED)

Update: September 13, 2021 - Amruta Annie Fernbach has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 2^nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 35-year-old female from Chevy Chase.  

Amruta Annie Fernbach was last seen on August 29, at her residence in the 6300 block of Wisconsin Ave. Fernbach is 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has a tattoo on the inside of her left wrist, possibly of the word, “MOM.”  

Police are concerned for her physical and emotional well-being.  

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Amruta Annie Fernbach is asked to call the Montgomery County Police 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24hrs).
