Detectives Investigate Thefts from Vehicles in Silver Spring

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit continue to investigate an incident that occurred on August 23 where property was stolen from vehicles. Investigators are releasing surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.  

 

On August 23, at approximately 11:30 a.m., 4th District officers responded to the 13000 block of Locksley Ln. in Silver Spring for the report of a theft from auto that occurred earlier. The victim stated that his two vehicles were parked on the driveway of his residence the previous night. The following morning, the victim determined that property was stolen from his vehicles. The victim checked his surveillance camera and observed an individual walking inside his carport on August 23, 2021 at 4:37 a.m.   

 

Anyone with information regarding this suspect or this crime is asked to call the 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit at 240-773-5530. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
